We are seeking a New Home Service Technician to assist the New Home Project Managers with repairs of new and renovated manufactured homes for 40 hours per week.
As a successful New Home Service Technician, you will:
Repair or replace items found in manufactured homes including but is not limited to drywall, doors, siding, flooring, facia, soffit, trim, carpet, and plumbing.
Complete minor plumbing repairs, as needed.
Prioritize and manage repairs to meet deadlines.
Develop and maintain a professional working relationships with Community Managers and Maintenance teams.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Maintain and manage all inventory and make certain it is secure.
Travel between properties to complete work as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of 2-year home renovation and/or residential construction experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Valid operator's license, maintenance of a good driving record at all times, and insurability under the Company's policy at all times.
Have reliable transportation.
Minimum 2 years professional experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry.
Provide own tools.
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access confined or high spaces.
Ability to operate power tools and other equipment.
Ability to lift or to move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to efficiently perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Ability to tolerate exposure to various chemical compounds.
Compensation:
The hourly pay range for this position is $35.
