Inventory Management:
Supervise the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.
Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Delegate tasks and ensure a productive and harmonious work environment.
ProcessOptimization:
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
Identify areas for improvement in layout, technology, or workflows.
Logistics Coordination:
Collaborate with suppliers, shipping carriers, and other departments to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Quality Control:
Oversee quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet established standards.
Equipment Maintenance:
Manage the maintenance and service schedules of warehouse equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records and generate reports to track warehouse performance, inventory levels, and key metrics.
Problem-solving:
Address issues such as inventory shortages, damaged goods, or delays in shipments in a timely and effective manner.
Budget Management:
Monitor and manage the warehouse budget, including expenses related to staffing, equipment, maintenance, and operational costs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
